3. Canon G7x Mark ii 599$
When I bought this popular vlogging camera, I researched high and low and ended up going with the Canon G7X Mark ii. I have used it for all my photos and vlogging needs. It’s perfect because you can flip the screen over, up and down, so you can see what you’re filming or shooting. You can also see yourself when you’re talking into the camera, perfect for catching something in your teeth. Not to mention when I bought this camera it was nearly 700$! I would absolutely recommend this super compact but powerful camera for traveling and creating. It still remains one of top vlogging cameras on the market!
4. Joby Gorilla Pod 25$
What’s that alien thing with the tentacles you ask? It’s sort of like a mini tripod so it’s lightweight and easy to pack. It can hook or mold itself onto different structures, so you can film anywhere. No tripod? Hook this thing to a tree or railing nearby and you’re all set to go! It’s also great for handheld vlogging as it helps create some distance so your face isn’t the only thing your camera can see.

I also used ExpressVPN to stream Netflix in countries that doesn’t have availability! What an amazing gift!
